GRADE 12 SEMESTER #1 - FAIL SMART & FAIL FAST

OVERALL FOCUS

  • Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Human Ingenuity

    • Since the first two cohorts of IA students started in 11th grade, they didn't get exposed to this in 10th grade, which is why some of the learning outcomes and resources overlap.

 

 

POSSIBLE PROJECTS* 

  • INNOVATION TOURNAMENT

    • In pairs, you need to create a product or service that is INNOVATIVE and that SERVES our community in some way. 

    • The best innovation could win financial backing from a local company or venture capitalist.

  • VIRTUAL FILM FESTIVAL

    • Produce and run an International Virtual Film Festival focusing on STORIES THAT INSPIRE (Sports, arts, academics, service, innovations, etc.).

  • PRESENTATION OF LEARNING (POL)

    • At the end of each semester, you'll present your most important learnings from each project.

  • INTERNSHIP

    • This is your final internship and will last around four weeks. Preferably you will complete the internship with an entrepreneur or social entrepreneur here in Lima.

  • iPOL (Internship Presentation of Learning)

    • This will be similar to the POL but it will focus entirely on your internship.

    • It will also count as one of your final exams.​​
